How many players do you need for IMPOSTER?

IMPOSTER works with 3 to 12 players sharing a single device.

Do I need an internet connection or an account?

No. The game runs locally in your browser, with no sign-up, and nothing about your round is sent anywhere.

How does the imposter win?

The imposter wins if the vote is tied or if the group votes for the wrong person. The group wins by catching the imposter.

What topics can I play with?

Pick from word packs such as Animals, Food & Drinks, Sports, Movies & TV and Technology. You can also turn on a hint that shows the imposter the word's category.
